Softball-Lindsey Keese
|
Coach Lindsey Keese came to Skyview from playing college softball at Bethany College, West Virginia. She has been an active part of the program for the past three years, starting as a Junior Varsity coach and now as Head coach. She has played softball since she was 12 and continues to be committed to the sport with coaching a competitive softball team, Under 18 Colorado Bruins, playing adult league and co-coaching the Skyview summer program. |

Football-Bill Nelson

Coach Bill Nelson came to Skyview after 33 years as a Head Football coach in Iowa. Most recently he was the Head Coach at West Burlington High School, where his teams recorded 4 undefeated seasons and 8 trips to the State Playoffs. Coach Nelson is a member of the Iowa Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame. |

Volleyball-Ron Johnson
|
Ron Johnson will begin his first season as head volleyball coach of the Wolverines. Ron brings over 25 years of coaching and playing experience to the program. Prior to joining Skyview, he spent the last 5 season coaching Westminster club volleyball racking up 10 power tournament wins, 2 regional wins, a second place regional finish, and a 3rd place finish at Colorado Crossroads Select tournament. Ron’s high school experience includes 5 years as head coach and 1 year as an assistant. While coaching, his teams posted 2 league championships, 3 district championships, and 3 trips to regional. Ron hopes to bring the same success to Skyview. |

Athletic Trainer-Lara D’Orvilliers
|
Lara D’Orvilliers joined Skyview in January of 2008 as Mapleton Public Schools District Athletic Trainer. Lara is a certified athletic trainer with the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Board of Certification, and is a licensed athletic trainer with the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners. Prior to moving to Colorado from New Jersey, she was the athletic trainer at Brookdale Community College, in Lincroft, NJ. Lara served as the athletic trainer graduate assistant while receiving her Masters of Education in Physical Education, Athletic Management degree from The College of New Jersey in 2007, and her Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with a concentration in Athletic Training from Kean University in NJ in 2005. While in undergraduate school, she earned an athletic training internship with the New York Giants during the 2004/2005 season. Lara also played on the Kean University Women’s Soccer team for two seasons before beginning her role as student athletic trainer during the last two years of college. |

Girls Basketball - Chris Kemm
|
Christopher Kemm, a 1991 graduate of Mapleton/Skyview High School, was a four year, three sport student-athlete who had a decorated High School career in football, basketball, and track. In the winter of 1998, he returned to his alma mater and began his coaching career as an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach. Shortly thereafter he took coaching positions with football and track team. In his tenure with Skyview, he has coached under longtime coaching greats, Paul Barringer and Steve Reffel. He has been an assistant coach on teams that have taken our student athletes to the state play-offs 8 times, and twice to the Round of 16. Â In all, Chris has served Mapleton Public Schools for more than 13 years in Basketball, 11 years in track, and two in football. Chris also has the honor of serving on the Mapleton Education Foundation Board, which is dedicated to support of Mapleton Public Schools. Our goal is to provide every student with access to opportunities and resources necessary to achieve his or her potential, by: Improve access to post-secondary education; Encouraging innovation and creativity in the classroom; Helping students participate in district activities and programs; engaging the local and extended communities to address the needs and recognize the achievement of Mapleton students. He was one of the many student athletes inspired by coaches before him to continue with sports, get educated and was motivated to come back and give back Mapleton Public Schools.

Boys Basketbal l - Michael Beach
|
Michael Beach is currently serving in his 4th year as the Head Boys Basketball coach and 2nd year as the 6th grade teacher at GLA. He lives with his beautiful wife Kelly and their dog Cash. He is assisted by two fine men in Michael Ruiz (5 years and Skyview Alumni) and Ken Shew (3 years). Michael is a graduate of Westminster High School where he was recognized as a First Team All-State Wide Receiver, 5A State Champion 4x400 runner and All Region Basketball player. He graduated from Tabor College as a three sport athlete with a degree in Social Sciences. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Sports Administration. He believes in three things: Family, hardwork, and overcoming adversity. He is blessed to be surrounded by young men who wake up everyday with these three things in their heart! |
