Through a unique partnership with the University of Colorado Master's plus program, 22 classrooms at Clayton-Bertha Heid Elemenatary Campus will receive high-quality instructional support.
Who: 22 future
teachers
What: Volunteering twice a week to help students
Why: C.U. students gain valuable, hands-on training, elementary school benefits
from quality instructional support.
Students will receive extra one on one tutoring, small group instruction, and an additional caring adult to help them better their studies.
This partnership marks the first time that the University of Colorado Master's Plus program, the state's premier teacher training program, has collaborated with a single campus. The partnership allows Clayton-Bertha Heid to host the entire cohort of 20 future teachers, two after school volunteers, and five liaison professors.
