Join in an old-fashioned sing along and look at American history at Meadow Elementary's annual Family Literacy Night!
We'll celebrate American heritage and literacy by singing traditional American songs and look at literacy through American themes like the White House and baseball. And you can't have baseball without apple pie ... we'll provide apple crisps, ice cream, coffee and milk.
This annual event celebrates our love for reading and promotes literacy in the Meadow community. This year, our "United We Read" literacy night not only celebrates literacy and education, but the American heritage and values that support them.
The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Meadow Elementary School, 9150 Monroe St. in Thornton. For more information about the event, call Ronda at (303) 853-1530.
