Press Release For Immediate Release September 24, 2001 |

The 2001 Mapleton
Education Foundation employee contribution drive got underway September 19 with
a gathering at the Administration Building.
Sam Molinaro, who leads the annual drive for the district, has raised the goal
from $9,000 last year to $10,000.
There are incentives
to help boost participation: any site that gets 100 percent of its staff to
contribute will be in a drawing to have breakfast served to them by the central
administration staff. Also, anyone who makes a pledge will be entered in a drawing
to win Denver Nuggets ticktets.
Molinaro said the drive will wrap up by September 28th.
All of the proceeds from the drive will go to the foundation, which is an independent, nonprofit community organization that supports Mapleton Public Schools' mission of providing a superior education for all its students. The foundation serves the Mapleton community in many ways, including providing college scholarships for students, serving as a clearinghouse by directing donated items to students and the schools, and facilitating corporate and education partnerships.
