Skyview High School automotive program receives national certification

The automotive training program at Skyview High School recently received certification by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). "During the past several months we have worked closely with NATEF to make certain our program would meet strict industry standards," said Bruce Fitzgerald, Automotive Instructor. "Now we are delighted to join the ranks of ASE certified technician training programs. Students will be assured of a quality education, and shop owners will be assured of getting quality job applicants."

Certification has been awarded to Skyview's automotive program in the following areas:

The program is now certified for a period of five years, after which it will be reviewed to ensure that it continues to meet industry standards and to adjust to the latest technological advances in the rapidly changing automotive world.
