York Middle School has been chosen as the winner of the 2004 Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award.
In his letter to York, Governor Owens said, "It's not without much determination that a school can improve its overall academic performance to receive the rating "Significantly Improved." This award was created by the Colorado General Assembly to recognize the most improved public schools in the state.
Please join us in congratulating the teachers and staff at York for their hard work and dedication to students.
