Meadow Community School (K-8)

"Learning Designed with YOU in Mind"

At Meadow Community School students take responsibility for their learning through exhibitions of learning, student led conferences, and setting individualized goals. Students cooperate to show what they know while teachers take the role of facilitator and coach.

Meadow's mission is to guarantee that each student will confidently achieve academic success. Parents are an important part of the learning experience and are highly valued. Teachers work together to meet the needs of students and have consistently high expectations. Classroom environments are student-centered and are literacy-rich. The environment is engaging and stimulating and allows students multiple ways to learn and make sense of classroom material.

Meadow students can expect to grow both socially and academically in a rigorous and standards based environment. Daily Morning Meetings and monthly All School Meetings help to unify and celebrate our Meadow Community as well as help students develop purposeful 21st Century skills in learning and leadership.

Meadow students are...

  • Students who pursue individualized learning goals that motivate them to reach their highest potential.
  • Students who thrive in a nurturing, family-like environment.
