Committed to the academic and personal development of its students, Monterey Community School promises to guide each child into a deeper understanding of the written and spoken English language. All students, regardless of their native or home language, engage in learning activities that promote confident and articulate individuals. Beginning in kindergarten, students use the power of the English language in reading, writing, and math and apply those skills in activities such as puppet shows, theatre, speech and debate, poetry, authors' nights, and journalism clubs.
