Skyview Academy
Skyview Academy High School focuses on the development of student self-discipline as a foundation of learning. Students will learn aspects of respect, responsibility and how to help one another to belong and be safe in a rigorous learning community. Skyview students are expected to be active participants in their learning by promoting responsible decision making and self accountability. Students will experience consistency in school structure and common expectations across all classrooms. Healthy relationships and self-discipline inspire Skyview students to embrace their individuality and thrive in our unified learning community. At Skyview Academy, students take ownership in their learning. As Mapleton's only secondary school that is a part of the Coalition of Essential Schools, Skyview is guided by 10 Common Principles that support the school's disciplined approach to learning.
