Air Force JROTC

 

Air Force JROTC is a leadership and citizenship building program students can take and earn elective credit toward graduation. All students in grades 9-12 are eligible to participate. The program is designed to be taken all four years of high school.

The program is broken up into three components:

  • Aerospace Education - learning about the history of flight and how airplanes work.
  • Leadership Education - honoring the flag, basic military doctrines, and ceremonies.
  • Physical Training - wearing the Air Force uniform during school one day a week, practicing and learning drill/marching techniques, and completing basic physical training.
