Welcome to MESA!
Mapleton Expeditionary School of the Arts (MESA) is an 8 -12th grade college preparatory school. As a member of the EL Network (formerly Expeditionary Learning), students at MESA are active learners who are challenged to take on meaningful, public and collaborative work. Service-learning, fieldwork, and character development are built into MESA’s curriculum. Students investigate real-world issues and use what they learn to make a positive change in their community.

Canvas User Guides for Parents
Canvas is a learning management system that helps organize instruction by connecting the digital materials that teachers and students use in one easy place. Canvas will include a daily live teaching component, attendance, and grading expectations for credit. Students will visit Canvas to check their calendar for upcoming due dates, access course materials, and submit assignments. Parents can use Canvas to keep up with their student's calendars and assignments.

You Count! October Count is Monday, Oct. 2
All school districts, including Mapleton, receive funding from the state to support the learning needs of each student enrolled and in attendance during October Count. During the October Count, student attendance is how districts receive most of their funding to support student learning. Let’s be sure we count you in on count day, Monday, Oct. 2!

Healthy School Meals for All
Beginning this year, all students in Mapleton Public Schools will have access to healthy, nutritious school meals at no cost thanks to the Healthy School Meals for All program approved by Colorado voters. All students will also continue to have access to breakfast at no cost.
