Mapleton Online is a K-12 public school that offers flexibility through real-time, daily live classes (synchronous instruction) with opportunities for students to access their instruction at their own pace outside of the traditional school day (asynchronous instruction).

Students are supported in becoming self-directed, independent learners, and have access to high-quality technology to support them at each level of their academic career. Students are also invited to participate in district in-person programs, including field trips, Performing Arts, Athletics, JROTC, and other extracurricular activities.
Students are actively engaged throughout the day in their own personal learning plans and goals. Our extensively trained staff make it a priority to build a community of learners while ensuring that all students have equal access to high-quality, standards-based education. We have a strong Special Education team and expert ELL teachers to support the success of all students.

Canvas User Guides for Parents
Canvas is a learning management system that helps organize instruction by connecting the digital materials that teachers and students use in one easy place. Canvas will include a daily live teaching component, attendance, and grading expectations for credit. Students will visit Canvas to check their calendar for upcoming due dates, access course materials, and submit assignments. Parents can use Canvas to keep up with their student's calendars and assignments.

School-Based Clinic Survey
Last year, Mapleton received a grant from CDPHE to explore opening a Community-Based Health Clinic in Mapleton, on the Skyview Campus. On Monday, Nov. 13, all stakeholders, including parents, students, staff, and community members will be asked to complete a survey about this opportunity. Learn more.

Healthy School Meals for All
Beginning this year, all students in Mapleton Public Schools will have access to healthy, nutritious school meals at no cost thanks to the Healthy School Meals for All program approved by Colorado voters. All students will also continue to have access to breakfast at no cost.

Board of Education selects New Superintendent of Schools
On Tuesday, April 25, Mapleton’s Board of Education voted unanimously to confirm Mr. Mike Crawford as the new Superintendent of Schools. Mr. Crawford will succeed Superintendent Charlotte Ciancio for the 2024-25 school year.
