Beth Ann Rosa, Director
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I begin this new adventure as your director. Clayton Partnership K-8 School is an incredible place, and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve this community.
My professional educational experiences range over twenty plus years in the classroom, teaching various grade levels in many of the Mapleton schools. I worked with first- and second-year teachers as they pursued their teaching profession through an Induction Program, also in Mapleton. I was privileged to be an assistant principal for several years. This has all been a wonderful preparation for my new role at Clayton. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from University of Northern Colorado and my dual Master of Arts Degree in Education, Bilingual Education and Special Education, from the University of Colorado.
Clayton Partnership built its foundation on 4 pillars: Integrity, Perseverance, Responsibility, and Compassion. Each of the pillars holds the quality I believe in to create a strong and nurturing, academic environment. I believe honesty and transparency with the community, parents, and students is vital to build trust needed in a successful school. My hope for Clayton’s students will be to pursue their goals through high academic expectations. In addition, I will show compassion and a willingness to help all of Clayton’s teachers and students to exceed expectations. It is my responsibility to ensure the best for the school year.
I look forward to working with Clayton Partnership teachers, staff, and the community to create a rich and engaging environment for students.

Degrees and Certifications:
Lanaye Smith, Assistant Director
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Assistant Director at Clayton Partnership School. I am honored to continue my work and passion in Mapleton and am looking forward to working as team with families, students, staff, and our community. I am thankful to work side-by-side with Mrs. Rosa in making this school year the best yet!
I have always had a passion for education and knew this is where I would spend my professional career. I attended the University of Northern Colorado and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. Shortly after, I received a Master of Arts Degree in Urban Education from the University of Denver. I was lucky enough to be placed in Mapleton as a Boettcher student teacher. My work continued in Mapleton as a kindergarten, first, second, third grade teacher, and Instructional Guide. Throughout that time, I received a second Master of Arts Degree in Special Education and truly found the importance of working with families and supporting students the best way possible.
Throughout my years in Mapleton, I had an even stronger desire to make a positive impact on an entire school community. During my time as an Instructional Guide, I began my work to obtain a principal license. I am committed to working diligently to ensure our children achieve their full potential while supporting and encouraging them along the way. I look forward to getting to know you next year.
