Scope of Work

  • Explore PK-8 will relocate to a new building at 104th Avenue and York Street. The building is designed to reflect the heritage of Colorado farming and ranching in the area. To accommodate the growth of our district, the new Explore will serve preschool through eighth grade students.

  • UPDATE – Dec. 5, 2019

    • The playground equipment has been delivered to the site and crews from Bienstock Natural Playgrounds have started the installation.
    • Drywall installation is complete in all classrooms and most of the interior spaces. 
    • Paint is nearly complete within the gym walls and ceiling ductwork. 
    • On the side of the gymnasium, the trash encloser is beginning to take shape.

    • The final roof inspections are now complete!
    • The natural-themed playground equipment is now on-site and will be installed by crews for the next few weeks.
    • By the end of the week, the exterior seat boulders will all be placed.
    • Next week, the crews expect delivery of the metal wall panels for the entry silo.
    • Inside the building, crews are finishing up drywall installation throughout the school and are working on paint in many areas.
    • The gym brickwork is complete, meaning crews will soon work on painting the walls and ceiling ductwork.
    • Next week, tiling for the bathrooms will begin as well as blocking for the kitchen.
