In addition to the extracurricular activities, Mapleton Public Schools also hosts a district-wide Science Fair, Spelling Bee and Art Show. If your interested in participating in any of these events, please reach out to your schools coordinator. Below are the dates of each event.

District Activities

Mapleton Public Schools proudly provides three great extracurricular activities. Each activity has its own dedicated webpage that is filled with information as well as contact information for the coordinator(s).
Debate:
As a member of the Denver Urban Debate League, Mapleton students have the opportunity to learn and achieve through competitive debate and speech activities. In Debate, students learn who to construct arguments and deconstruct others. In Speech, student perform Drama, Impromptu, and Slam Poetry pieces. SOS:
Working with the nonprofit SOS Outreach program, SOS teaches core values, provides adult mentoring and creates community outreach opportunities through adventure sports and service learning. SOS aims to build protective factors and resiliency characteristics in youth through our Learn to Ride and University programs. For more information on SOS, please visit their webpage.
