    • It’s hard to miss that large pile of dirt in the northwest corner of the Broadway Campus. It has many of our community members asking, “what’s that?” The two-stories of soil marks the location of the last building being constructed on the Broadway Campus, the Mapleton Arts Center, or the MAC.
    • The MAC officially broke ground early in December and construction crews are now working on the footing and foundation.
    • Some features of the new space include a 900-seat auditorium, a 1:1 scale Black Box theater for practices, an outdoor amphitheater and dedicated classrooms for orchestra, choir, band, and dance.
    • In the next few weeks, the dirt pile will disappear, and in a few months, the MAC will go vertical!
    • The MAC will serve students district-wide and is scheduled to be open in 2021!
