    The USDA passed an extended waiver making it possible for Mapleton Public Schools to continue offering free meals to all children (up to 18 years old) in our community. To ensure we have enough meals on hand, families need to pre-order meals online, below or call 303.853.1117. You do not need to be a Mapleton student to participate. Order your meals today! 

     PLEASE NOTE: Children attending in-person (K-12) at a Mapleton school are not eligible for meal pick-up, as they are served their free meals while in school.

    • Global Primary Academy (Global Campus): 7480 N. Broadway, Denver; Pick up will be in the bus loop 
    • Welby Community School: 1200 E. 78th Ave, Denver; Pick up will be at the front entrance

    How will Mapleton Online students receive breakfast and lunch?

    Nutrition Services will have 3 meal distribution sites across the district boundary. Pick up will be Mondays (2 breakfasts and 2 lunches) and Wednesdays (3 breakfasts and 3 lunches) from 8:45-9:15 a.m. in designated outside areas. Meals will be ‘grab and go’ style, some ready to eat, and others that will require heating.  Preparation and storage instructions are listed below on this webpage. 

    Mapleton Online families will be asked to submit a meal request form every week by Thursday at noon the week prior.

    All families are encouraged to apply for free or reduced meals through the National School Lunch Program. To receive lunch at no cost, families must qualify for free or reduced-price meals and keep their annual Federal Meal Benefit Application current. Only one form per family is needed, however, a form must be filled out every year unless you received a letter that you were directly certified through SNAP benefits. 

     

    The information provided on the application is confidential and will be used only for the purpose of determining eligibility and verifying data.  

    The form takes just moments to complete and can be done online.  Even if you choose to not participate in the National School Lunch Program, simply filling out the application helps your child’s school secure funds to support important programming.
