    Global Intermediate Academy is one school with two International Baccalaureate Programmes. Grades 4-6 was officially verified as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme during the summer of 2019.  GIA grades 7-8 received official authorization as an IB Middle Years Programme this winter. As an IB school, our students have access to courses in a foreign language, design technology, physical education, visual arts and performing arts. The IB curriculum offers students challenging programs, rigorous assessment, and accelerated courses to develop well-rounded students with a strong commitment to academic excellence.  Global has a strong school culture cultivated through traditions and relationships.
