    Transportation for the 2023-24 School Year

    Dear Mapleton families, 

    In Mapleton, you choose your school and we provide transportation! School choice is supported by Mapleton’s highly-qualified transportation team and comprehensive transportation system. Families living within Mapleton’s boundaries receive free transportation to their school of choice, which is available to all grade levels, preschool through 12th. 

     

    Mapleton uses Zonar, a bus rider verification program, to keep students safe as they travel to and from school. Every student who rides a Mapleton bus receives a Paw Pass which they use every time they get on and off the bus.   

     

    Returning bus riders: Save your Paw Pass! Your current Paw Pass can be used for the upcoming school year. Please keep your Paw Pass in a secure place over the summer so you are ready to use it on the first day of school in August. 

     

    New and returning bus riders: Parents/Guardians must register new and returning bus riders every school year. New riders will receive their Paw Pass from their bus driver the first time they board the school bus. Families may also visit the Transportation office, 591 E. 80th Ave., Denver, 80229 to obtain a Paw Pass.

    All student bus riders, new and returning, preschool – 12th grade, must register online.  

    Bus Rider Registration Forms

     

    Lost or Damaged Paw Pass: If your child has lost or misplaced their Paw Pass, you may purchase a replacement Paw Pass online or in person. There is a $3.00 charge for a replacement Paw Pass. The replacement Paw Pass will be given to your child the next time they board the school bus. 

    • In person: Visit the Transportation Office, 591 E. 80th Ave., Denver, 80229, Monday-Friday, between 7 a.m.-4 p.m. You may pay by cash, check, or credit/debit card.  

    Please note, students are allowed to board the school bus without a Paw Pass for up to 5 (five) consecutive school days. 

    • Days 1 and 2: Bus drivers remind students to obtain a Paw Pass 
    • Day 3: A member of the transportation team or bus driver contacts the student’s parent/guardian. 
    • Day 5: If the student does not obtain a Paw Pass for up to 5 school days throughout the school year, the student will not be allowed to board the bus for the remainder of the school year.

     

    2023-24 Bus Stops and Bus Routes 

    Bus routes and bus stop information for the 2023-24 school year will be available at the end of July.  You may also contact your school for information in August. Please stay tuned for more information.

    Estimada familias de Mapleton, 

    En Mapleton, ¡usted elige su escuela y nosotros le proporcionamos el transporte! La elección de escuela está apoyada por el equipo de transporte altamente cualificado y el completo sistema de transporte de Mapleton. Las familias que viven dentro de los límites de Mapleton reciben transporte gratuito a la escuela de su elección, que está disponible para todos los grados, desde preescolar hasta 12º. 

     

    Mapleton utiliza Zonar, un programa de verificación de pasajeros de autobús, para mantener la seguridad de los estudiantes cuando viajan hacia y desde la escuela. Todos los estudiantes que viajan en un autobús de Mapleton reciben un Paw Pass que utilizan cada vez que suben y bajan del autobús.  

     

    Pasajeros de autobús que regresan: ¡Guarde su Paw Pass! Su Paw Pass actual puede utilizarse para el próximo año escolar. Por favor, guarde su Paw Pass en un lugar seguro durante el verano para que esté listo para usarlo el primer día de escuela en agosto.

     

    Viajeros nuevos y que regresan en autobús: Los padres/tutores deben registrar a los pasajeros nuevos y a los que regresan cada año escolar. Los nuevos pasajeros recibirán su Paw Pass del conductor del autobús la primera vez que suban al autobús escolar. Las familias también pueden visitar la oficina de Transporte, 591 E. 80th Ave., Denver, 80229 para obtener un Paw Pass.

    Todos los estudiantes que suban al autobús, nuevos y antiguos, de preescolar a 12º grado, deben registrarse en línea.

    Paw Pass perdido o dañado: Si su hijo ha perdido o no encuentra su Paw Pass, puede comprar un Paw Pass de reemplazo en línea o en persona. Hay un cargo de $3.00 por un Paw Pass de reemplazo. El Paw Pass de reemplazo se le entregará a su hijo la próxima vez que suba al autobús escolar.

    • En línea: Visite MySchoolBucks para pagar con tarjeta de crédito/débito. 
    • En persona: Visite la Oficina de Transporte, 591 E. 80th Ave., Denver, 80229, de lunes a viernes, entre las 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Puede pagar en efectivo, con cheque o con tarjeta de crédito/débito.  

    Tenga en cuenta que los estudiantes pueden subir al autobús escolar sin el Paw Pass hasta 5 (cinco) días escolares consecutivos. 

    • Días 1 y 2: Los conductores de autobús recuerdan a los estudiantes que deben obtener un Paw Pass
    • Día 3: Un miembro del equipo de transporte o el conductor del autobús se pone en contacto con los padres/tutores del estudiante.
    • Día 5: Si el estudiante no obtiene un Paw Pass durante un máximo de 5 días escolares a lo largo del año escolar, no se le permitirá subir al autobús durante el resto del año escolar.

     

    Paradas y rutas de autobús 2023-24 

    La información sobre rutas y paradas de autobús para el año escolar 2023-24 estará disponible a finales de julio.  También puede ponerse en contacto con su escuela para obtener información en agosto. Por favor, permanezca atento para más información.
