Mrs. Caroline Gonzales
Caroline Gonzales teaches Sinfonia Orchestra during Zero Hour and Beginning Orchestra at Monterey Community School, Explore PreK-8, Achieve Academy, and Global Intermediate Academy.
Caroline grew up in Stillwater Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Education from Oklahoma City University. She previously taught Junior High Orchestra in Fort Smith, Arkansas and played in the cello section of the Fort Smith Symphony. She has also taught chamber ensembles and private lessons on cello and bass.
Since moving to Colorado this summer, Caroline has played cello in the Longmont Symphony and hopes to continue playing in various ensembles.
In addition to directing orchestra and playing cello, Caroline enjoys reading, exploring local coffee shops, admiring/playing with dogs, and singing in choirs and musicals. Caroline lives in Westminster with her husband Ryan, her dog Pippin, and her cat Merry.
Caroline loves working in Mapleton because it is truly a community that cares and puts students at the center of everything they do.
