Mrs. Caroline Siegel
Mrs. Caroline Siegel M.M.E. is a band instructor who has worked at Mapleton since 2017. She directs the beginning bands at Welby, Trailside, Adventure, and Global and co-directs the Zero Hour Concert Band. Additionally, she is an Assistant Director for the Mapleton Marching Band and leads the Mapleton Mariachi Club.
Caroline Siegel has a Master of Music Education from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS of Music Education (trombone concentration) from Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She also studied at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the Mapleton Performing Arts Team, she taught band and orchestra at Landis Valley Intermediate School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Outside of the school day, her hobbies include running, biking, and genealogy. Her favorite quote comes from the book The Little Prince: "It is only with the heart that one can see clearly. Everything essential is invisible to the eye."
