Ms. Evelyn Ripsom
Evelyn Ripsom is a Choir Director for Mapleton Public Schools; she directs the Serenade zero hour choir (7-8th grade students), and teaches beginning choir classes at Explore, Meadow, and Monterey.
Evelyn has a Choral Music Education degree from Florida State University and hopes to use music and education to bring people together and lift up her community. Before working for Mapleton Public Schools, she spent three years traveling across the US, Mexico, and Europe as the Education Manager for Up with People. She also spent a year serving the Denver community as an AmeriCorps member with Reading Partners.
Outside of school Evelyn enjoys traveling across the US and internationally, reading, and eating as much ice cream as she can. Her favorite part of working at Mapleton is the wonderful staff and supportive coworkers, along with the amazing students she gets to make music with every day.
