District Accountability Advisory Committee (DAAC)

The District Accountability Advisory Committee (DAAC) meets monthly to review district updates, provide input on budget preparation and may make recommendations to the Board of Education.  

Colorado law requires that local Boards of Education create a School District Accountability Committee (DAAC). 


DAAC Charges 2025 – 2026 

Review and Comment 

  • District Unified Improvement Plan  
  • District Budget Priorities for 26-27 school year 
  • Charter Applications 
  • Federal Grants Submitted by the District 
  • District capital improvement planning 

Serve As 

  • District Title I Parent Committee 
  • District Wellness Committee 
  • District Safe and Drug-Free Schools Advisory Council 
  • Provide Input to the BOE 
  • Feedback regarding the Student Conduct and Discipline Code  
  • Recommendation to the district, on an advisory basis, concerning the use of assessment tools to measure academic growth related to teacher evaluations
