    An Expeditionary Learning (EL) School

    Discover, Explore, Succeed!

    Adventure Staff Picture

Adventure Elementary is an EL Education school where students are exposed to rigorous academics, learn to think critically, and demonstrate real-world understanding. Learning experiences and service learning projects actively engage Adventure students in their education.

Students participate in Adventure Fitness, Art, Technology and Music during the day and have the opportunity to get involved in extracurricular activities such as Performing Arts, Student Council and Game Club to name a few.

At Adventure, we focus on the 3 dimensions of Student Achievement. These 3 dimensions include Mastery of Knowledge and Skills, Character Development, and High-Quality Work.

What makes Adventure unique is that we offer Native Language Spanish literacy instruction in grades PreK-3, using an Early Exit Transitional Bilingual model. Additionally, we have the Discovery program, a center-based program for students in grades K-3rd that have a variety of special needs. All students participate in Crew meetings every morning. Crew is an essential component of EL schools, including Adventure. Crew is a sacred part of the day in which students and teachers build community within their rooms so that every child feels important and connected to a trusted adult and each other. At Adventure we are working hard to develop students that are effective learners, ethical people, and contribute to a better world.
