New CareerX programs offered at MEC and Big Picture College and Career Academy!

CareerX is excited to be launching two new internship programs at MEC and Big Picture College and Career Academy!

Today's students need both a broad education and specific skills to ensure successful, long-term careers. CareerX courses are designed to expose seventh and eighth-grade students to the world of work through a variety of engaging career exploration opportunities. Students are offered courses that are project-based, hands-on and experiential. Students choose from an array of content-based electives, including outdoor adventures, culinary arts, engineering, mathematics through art, forensic science, environmental studies, and others. 

Launched in 2017, CareerX aligns with Colorado Academic Standards while offering engaging classes combined with real-world experiences. CareerX is offered to all seventh and eighth-grade students in the Mapleton.
