The Mapleton School District will take every possible measure to assure courteous, friendly, and fair treatment to visiting players, officials, fans and game officials.

    As a Mapleton student, you have the opportunity to compete in a variety of junior high and high school sports as a proud Skyview Wolverine. Competing as a Skyview Wolverine takes time, energy and focus, but the rewards are great. Mapleton Public Schools invites all eligible students to participate in their favorite sports and to try out for a new sport in another season.

  • Season D Update

    There will be no registration Thursday, April 15th and Friday, April 16th.


    Registration will resume on Monday, April 19th and will go to Friday, April 23rd.


    Season D Registration

    Mapleton Public Schools is intending on participating in Season D sports. Season D includes boys baseball, girls soccer, girls tennis, and boys and girls track & field. Due to declining incidence rates and positivity rates in our community, we intend to carry two levels of each team. 

    During the course of the season, we will continue to monitor the data; and if necessary, will make appropriate adjustments at any time in support of the health and safety of our students, our staff, and our community. Our program will require continued attentiveness to our layers of protection, as well as adherence to additional measures designed to assure the health and safety of the Mapleton community. All student-athletes will commit to frequent testing protocols and daily health screenings. At this time, no decision has been made regarding in-person spectators. 


    Registration Information

    Dates: Monday, April 12th–14th, 19th-23rd, 2021

    Time: 4-6 p.m.

    Location: Skyview Student Center (enter through the main doors)


    Students will be admitted into the Skyview Student Center for registration one at a time. Please wear a mask/face covering and observe social distancing protocols. All items for registration must be submitted at the time of registration. Registrations will not be accepted after Friday, April 23rd. For the health and safety of our staff and students, registration packets cannot be accepted during the school day.

    Registration packets are available in the main office of your school.

    If you joined a spring sport last year and did not receive a refund, we will roll over your registration fee and apply it toward Season D.


    First Day of Practice

    Monday, April 26th – All Season D Sports


    A practice shuttle bus will be provided to transport any student-athlete not on the Skyview Campus to practice. Additionally, there will be an additional shuttle bus after practice.

    Paw Pass for Practice Shuttles and Gameday Buses

    Due to CDPHE COVID requirements, all students that needs to ride any Mapleton Public Schools bus is required to have a Paw Pass. This includes both practice shuttles as well as gameday buses. If you do not currently have a Paw Pass, if you make the final roster your names will be submitted to the Transportation Department and one will be created for you and will be delivered to the Athletic Department. There is no charge for the initial setup and first Paw Pass. If your Paw Pass is lost, there is a $3 replacement charge. To order a replacement pass online, click here to register with MySchoolBucks and setup to receive a new Paw Pass.

    CHSAA 2020-2021 Activities Calendar

    Attached here is the calendar that CHSAA has put in place for the 2020-2021 school year. The seasons are now called A, B, C, D. The dates of each season has changed, the number of competitions has been decreased, and some sports have been moved to different times of the year. Please check our website for updates to our athletics season.

  • Message from the Athletic Department


    Spring Season Registration Refund

    Due to the loss of the spring season due to COVID-19, if you registered and paid for a spring sport you will have two options regarding your registration fee. The first option is if you are a current 9th through 11th grader and plan on playing a sport next year, you have the option to transfer your fee from this year’s spring season to a sport next year. The second option is to simply get a refund. This option is for current 12th graders or individuals not planning on playing a sport next year. Both options will be handled after the district reopens and we return to normal operations. For those who paid for Middle School registration, we will provide a refund. If you paid with a check that has not been deposited yet, we will not cash the check.


    Returning Uniforms 

    For those athletes that were given a uniforms/gear during any season this year, you will still be expected to return the uniform. Students are responsible for taking care of all uniforms/gear and will need to return everything upon us returning to normal operations. Any students who do not return uniforms/gear will not be allowed to register for another sport until you return all materials. For current 12th graders, please find a time after the district reopens to return any uniforms/gear.



    For those of you that purchased pictures for the Winter Season and have yet to receive them, we want to assure you that we have the pictures. However, due to the closure of school buildings and the cancelations of banquets, we were unable to hand them out. Upon us returning to our offices, we will come up with a plan to get the pictures out.



    Please be aware that with everything above, we are still in the planning stages. When we get closer to business as usual, we will provide a more detailed plan and explanation on how everything will occur. We thank you for your patience in the unusual time. Take care and stay safe!
