    You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown - What's Up? Media

     

    "Happiness is great musical theatre! With charm, wit, and heart, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. This revue of songs and vignettes, is based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip. Musical numbers include "My Blanket and Me," "The Kite," "The Baseball Game," "Little Known Facts," "Suppertime," and "Happiness." Guaranteed to please audiences of all ages!"     Mapleton Performing Arts is proud to present its Fall Musical, "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" (Revised) By Clark Gesner, Michael Mayer, Andrew Lippa, Charles M. Schulz. November 11th and 12th at 7 PM and November 13th at 2 PM and 7 PM at the Mapleton Arts Center (The MAC on Broadway). Tickets are $6 at the door, Mapleton students will be admitted free with valid student Id's.

    Sixth grade music classes coming to a school near you! 
     
    Sixth graders at all Mapleton schools can now sign up to participate in beginning band, choir, and orchestra. Classes will be held at each school during the regular school day. Talk to your school director for more information. 
     
     
     
    Zero Hour Performing Arts begins Monday, Aug. 16!
     

    We are excited to announce that zero-hour Performing Arts will resume on Monday, Aug. 16.  Registration is opened to all Mapleton students,  grades 7th-12th, interested in participating in band, orchestra, or choir.

    Time: 7:15 a.m. - 8:05 a.m., Monday-Friday

    Locations:

    Mapleton Arts Center (MAC) | 7480 Broadway, Building #4, Denver 80221

    • 7th and 8th grade band
    • High school choir 
    • High school orchestra

     

    Skyview Campus | 8990 York St., Thornton, 80229

    • High school band 
    • 7th and 8th grade choir
    • 7th and 8th grade Orchestra

     

    Transportation:  District transportation will be provided for all students who live within Mapleton’s attendance zone

    • Please indicate if you need district transportation on your registration form.
    • All students using district transportation must have a Paw Pass. This includes students who need to ride the bus to their school after zero hour. 
    • Call 303.853.1024 to get your Paw Pass. Passes are free if you do not have one.  If you have lost your Paw Pass, there is a $3.00 replacement fee.
