Enroll in Mapleton

Enrollment is now open!
Enrollment for new families and the Annual Update for current families opens on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Enroll or complete the Annual Update by Thursday, Feb. 8, for the best chance of being placed in your first-choice school.

Current families are encouraged to complete the Annual Update as soon as possible if they have:

  • A preschool student headed into kindergarten (will be 5 by Oct. 1).
  • A sixth-grade student attending Welby Community School of the Arts or Adventure Elementary headed into seventh grade.
  • An eighth-grade student attending Achieve Academy, Explore PK-8, Clayton Partnership, Meadow Community, Monterey Community, or Trailside Academy headed into ninth grade.

Out of District enrollment opens on March 1

In Mapleton, there is a school for every student. Which school will you choose?

At Mapleton Public Schools, we believe school choice is the first step toward academic success. In Mapleton, there are no "neighborhood schools." You choose your school; we provide the transportation.

All Mapleton schools are small, safe, family-like learning environments where teachers discover what students already know and focus on what they need to learn. All schools are also small-by-design, meaning each school allows students to master content standards through a unique lens. School models include:

  • Big Picture
  • Dual Language
  • Expeditionary Learning (EL)
  • Gifted and Talented
  • International Leadership
  • Online K-12
  • Performing and Visual Arts
  • Project-Based Learning
  • STEM
  • University Partnerships
  • Young Adult

Transportation

If you live within Mapleton's district boundaries, we will provide transportation to your school of choice (if you live a mile or more from your school of choice). This applies to all students living within district boundaries and more than one mile away from their school of choice. Learn more about Mapleton's comprehensive transportation system
