It’s time to get creative!

Mapleton is inviting staff and students to participate in a Face Mask Design Challenge. What would you like to see on a face mask in your school, in your home, or in your community?

  • Are you a math teacher with a favorite equation?
  • Are you an artist with a vision?
  • What is your favorite animal?
  • Do you have a favorite quote?
  • How would you share your favorite subject or academic experience on a face mask?
  • How would you use a creative mask design to share a smile?

Art and creativity can be a great way to talk about difficult subjects and emotions. Designing a face mask with friends and family can open up a conversation and help everyone become more comfortable with this personal protective equipment. In the fall, teachers and students may be asked to wear face masks when practical, as a part of health precautions. We would love for the masks in Mapleton to be designed by Mapleton students and staff!
