In need of a thermometer? We've got them!
Mapleton has received several thermometers that are available free to families in need of one. If your family would like free a thermometer, please contact Suzy Ott at otts@mapleton.us.
As a reminder it is extremely important to complete a simple home health screening to determine if your child should go to school or stay home. Before your child goes to school review the following questions:
High-risk symptoms
- Do you feel feverish, have chills, or have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher?
- Do you have a new or unexplained persistent cough?
- Do you have shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
- Do you have a loss of taste or smell?
Low-risk symptoms
- Do you have a sore throat?
- Do you have a runny nose?
- Do you have muscle aches?
- Do you have a headache?
- Do you have congestion or a runny nose?
- Do you have fatigue?
- Are you experiencing nausea or vomiting?
- Do you have diarrhea?
