Homecoming is Friday, Sept. 20!

mask It's a Mapleton Mardi Gras! 
Mapleton has created a tradition of celebrating homecoming as a district!
 
Please note the following calendar items:
  • All schools will release two-hours early so all students and their families may enjoy this community-wide celebration.  
  • All half-day and full-day preschool classes are canceled for staff professional development.
 
Homecoming begins with a parade around the neighborhood near the Skyview Campus. After the parade, everyone is invited back to the Skyview Campus for more fun, food, and festivities from 4:15- 5:15 p.m.
At 7:00 p.m., cheer on the Skyview Wolverines as they take on the Lincoln Lancers! 

Homecoming schedule of events:
  • 2:15 p.m. - Parade staging at the Skyview Campus and Clayton loop
  • 3:30 p.m. - Parade begins (click here to view the parade route)
  • 4:15 - 5:15 p.m. - Festivities at the Skyview Campus
  • 7:00 p.m. - Kickoff at DiTirro Stadium! Mapleton students may attend the game for free with their student ID! Mapleton students in grades PreK-6 must be accompanied by an adult to get into the game for free. 
Please contact your child's school for more information about your school's parade float, homecoming booth, football game and homecoming dance.

 

Spirit Week - Sept. 16 - 20

  • Monday - Teacher Day (dress like your favorite teacher)
  • Tuesday - Twin/Squad Day (dress like a twin or a group)
  • Wednesday - Character/Disney Day (dress like your favorite character - no masks allowed)
  • Thursday - Decades Day (dress like your favorite decade)
  • Friday - Class Colors (freshmen - white, sophomores - purple, juniors - silver/gray, seniors - black)
