Mrs. Caroline Siegel
Mrs. Caroline Siegel M.M.E., is the District Music Instructional Guide for all K-12 music teachers who has worked at Mapleton since 2017. She spends her day traveling the district to ensure that high-quality music education is available to all Mapleton students. Prior to her appointment as District Music Instructional Guide, Siegel has served both as Band and Orchestra director in past years.
Caroline Siegel has a Master of Music Education from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS of Music Education (trombone concentration) from Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She also studied at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the Mapleton staff, she taught band and orchestra at Landis Valley Intermediate School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Outside of the school day, her hobbies include running, biking, and genealogy. Her favorite quote comes from the book The Little Prince: "It is only with the heart that one can see clearly. Everything essential is invisible to the eye."
