Records for students who are transferring out of Mapleton Public Schools must be requested from the last school the student attended.

Former Mapleton Students

Mapleton is responsible for archiving student permanent records. Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), student records are available to the student (or their parent/guardian, if they are under the age of 18).

Potential employers, higher education institutions, and other third parties may request former student records online and must include a Release of Information, signed by the former student or responsible party.

Current Students applying to Institutes of Higher Education

Current students, with support from their Post-Secondary Options Counselors, may use the Record Request Form to request transcripts to be sent to institutions of higher education.

IEP Records Request

Mapleton's Integrated Services department is responsible for archiving student IEP records. Please email Spedrecords@mapleton.us to request a copy of your records.
