The Paw Pass helps Mapleton's Transportation Department offer an additional layer of safety and security for all students who ride a Mapleton bus from home to school and from school to home. Watch the video below to learn more!

What is Zonar?

Zonar is a fleet management solution that will help us enhance the safety and security of Mapleton’s bus riders. With Zonar, we are able to:

• Know which student is on which bus
• Know when and where students get on and off the bus, and
• Track the location of every bus in our fleet at all times

This information is shared through a secure database that will make it possible for us to notify parents with important transportation updates.

What is the Paw Pass?

The Paw Pass allows us to track students’ whereabouts and make sure each student gets on and off the right bus at the right time. Students will scan their Paw Pass as they board the bus and scan their pass again as they exit the bus. This lets Mapleton know the exact time, date and location of each student’s entry and exit from the bus. Students will go through the same process in the afternoon on the bus ride home.

How do students use the Paw Pass?

Paw Pass scanners are located at the front of every bus. To swipe your card correctly, hold it flat against the Paw Pass scanner until you hear it beep and the light turns from blue to green. If you do not hear a beep you will need to swipe it again. Your bus driver will be able to help you with your Paw Pass if you have any questions.

The Paw Pass should be kept where it can be easily found when it is time to board and exit the bus, such as a backpack, a lanyard or a pocket.

Which students will use the Paw Pass?

Any Mapleton student who lives within the Mapleton school district and rides the bus from home to school and from school to home needs a Paw Pass.  Also, students who ride the bus to and from athletics and/or other outside activities or to and from the YMCA must have a Paw Pass. The Transportation Office is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Transportation is located at 591 E. 80th Ave., Denver, 80229.

Paw Pass replacements: Paw Pass replacements can now be purchased online! Visit MySchoolBucks to order your replacement. The Paw Pass will be given to the Bus Driver to give to the student when the student boards the bus.  Replacements may also be purchased at the Transportation Office. Replacements cost is $3. We accept debit/credit cards, cash, and checks.

¿Qué es el Paw Pass?

¿Qué estudiantes usarán el Paw Pass?

Cualquier estudiante de Mapleton que vive dentro del distrito escolar de Mapleton y viaja en el autobús de la casa a la escuela y de la escuela a la casa necesita un pase de pata. Además, los estudiantes que viajan en autobús hacia y desde el Athletic y / u otras actividades externas o desde y hacia el YMCA deben tener un pase de pata.  La Oficina de Transporte está abierta de lunes a viernes entre las 7 am y las 4 pm. El Departamento está ubicado en 591 E. 80th Ave., Denver, 80229.

Los reemplazos de Paw Pass ahora se pueden comprar en línea! Visite MySchoolBucks para solicitar su reemplazo. El Paw Pass se le dará al conductor del autobús para que se lo dé al estudiante cuando el estudiante suba al autobús. Los reemplazos también se pueden comprar en la Oficina de Transporte. Los reemplazos cuestan $ 3. Aceptamos tarjetas de débito / crédito, efectivo y cheques.
