In Mapleton, there is a school for every student. Which school will you choose?
At Mapleton Public Schools, we believe school choice is the first step toward academic success. In Mapleton, there are no "neighborhood schools." You choose your school; we provide the transportation.
All Mapleton schools are small, safe, family-like learning environments where teachers discover what students already know and focus on what they need to learn. All schools are also small-by-design, meaning each school allows students to master content standards through a unique lens. School models include Big Picture, Dual Language, Expeditionary Learning (EL), Gifted and Talented, Leader in Me, Online, Performing and Visual Arts, STEM, University Partnerships, and Young Adult.

High School Pathways

There are many ways to earn a high school diploma and prepare for college and a career. The most common path is attending a traditional four-year public high school. But this option doesn’t always work for every student. Some may want to embark on a post-secondary opportunity, some have fallen behind on credits or want to add job training or work experience to their education. Learn about the different pathways to graduation and beyond in Mapleton Public Schools.
Transportation
If you live within Mapleton's district boundaries, we will provide transportation to your school of choice (if you live a mile or more from your school of choice). This applies to all students living within district boundaries and more than one mile away from their school of choice. Learn more about Mapleton's comprehensive transportation system.
