Nearly 30 students at Mapleton Expeditionary School of the Arts created working lamps this fall through a Marchi Mini Grant–funded ceramics project that blended art, engineering, and science. The hands-on experience challenged students to design, sculpt, glaze, and wire functional pieces while building real-world skills.

Global Primary Academy is showing that even in a PK–3 world of sniffles and big feelings, steady attendance is possible. With encouragement, celebration, and student-favorite incentives, GPA has increased attendance from about 93% in last year’s first quarter to 95% this fall. 

Global Intermediate Academy is proving that when students feel connected and excited to start their day, they show up and keep showing up. With a current attendance rate of 94.2%, up two percentage points from last year, the school is seeing stronger engagement, fewer absences, and a truancy rate nearly cut in half.
