Mapleton Public Schools proudly launched Kindness Counts on World Kindness Day, Wednesday, Nov. 13. Kindness Counts is a campaign dedicated to inspiring and celebrating kindness in our community. Kindness Counts encourages us all to engage in simple, meaningful acts that spread compassion and build connections. Join us in making kindness a daily habit—because in Mapleton, kindness truly counts!
Even the most simple acts of kindness can have a powerful impact on individuals and communities.

Random Acts of Kindness you can do today!
- Call a friend you haven’t spoken to for a while.
- Do a chore for someone without them knowing.
- Hold a door open for someone.
- Pick up litter.
- Paint kindness rocks and leave them for others to find.
- Write a note of gratitude to a friend, neighbor, teacher/staff member, family member, etc.
- Participate in a food drive.
- Read a book to someone.
- Read a book to your pet.

Mrs. Black's kindergarten class made an effort to show kindness by smiling at others.
